Spurs
have bid a reported £14m for the 23-year-old Brazilian, while
Arsenal have had a £13.75m offer rejected.
But Ramos is growing increasingly optimistic that Baptista will
stay put.
"The club want him to stay, he apparently wants to stay
and unless a big offer comes along, the signs are that he will
stay," said Ramos.
"Baptista is a pivotal player for Sevilla. We all want him
to stay but we are aware of the situation he is in, so we will
have to wait and see."
Spanish champions Barcelona are also among the clubs reportedly
interested in signing Baptista.
